Hey! Welcome to my webpage I've created for my home-based massage therapy business. My name is Kaela Kostiuk, I was born in Winnipeg. I spent many years moving back and forth between Winnipeg, and Brandon, Manitoba. I graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Therapy in 2015, located here in Winnipeg, MB. After graduating I registered as a member with the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba (MTAM) 2015 - Present.

I have worked in a bunch of different clinical environments since my career began. I grew experience working alongside physiotherapists, athletic therapists and chiropractors. Along with the different types of colleagues, I had the pleasure of working with a wide demographic of clients as well. My clinical experience ranges from working with competitive sports athletes, motor vehicle accident pain, physical/sedentary work injuries, knee/hip replacement rehabilitation, women during their pregnancy and in a relaxing spa environment. The age of my clientele base has ranges between 5 years old to 81 years old, there is a massage available for those of all ages.

After working in the massage field alongside others for 4.5yrs, I made the decision in late 2019 to venture onto my own clinic journey. I wanted to be able to provide accessible hours to my clients, an affordable treatment price and a quiet therapy space. After considering different options, I came to the decision that creating a home based clinic would give me the opportunity to provide that service for my clients. With the intention of remaining connected with other practitioners I signed up to volunteer on the Insurance and Practice Management and Inclusive Practice committees with The Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba.

In January 2022, I began studies at the University of Manitoba to pursue a Bachelor's of Social Work. I expect to graduate mid-2027 and will be shifting to part-time massage therapy as a result.
